The 81st Training Wing, Keesler AFB, Mississippi will be hosting an open house, which will be headlined by the Thunderbirds from the 31st of October through the 2nd of November 2025. The theme will be “A Legacy of Air Force Innovation” where the base will showcase airpower for the public using both flying/acrobatic demonstrations as well as static displays of airframes. As such, in addition to contemporary DoD aircraft currently in service there is a need for civilian aircraft as well as heritage and/or "warbirds" to be contracted/receive renumeration for their appearance.
A (2) T-6 Texan would be an outstanding addition for Keesler AFB's "Legacy of Innovation" themed air show as it perfectly embodies both historical continuity and modern advancement in Air Force training.
