Solicitation Description:

The Health and HumanServices Commission, for and on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division, is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for selection of a General Contractor to provide general construction and construction administrationservices to the Owner for Project 25-101-ABL - Generator Replacementsat Abilene State Supported Living Center in accordancewith the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Solicitation.

This Solicitation isbeing issued to select a Contractor for the Project as provided by TexasGovernment Code, Section 2155.144(b-2) and Chapter 2269,Subchapter D.

Project Summary:

The work covered bythis project consists of the Contractor furnishing all layout, survey,

plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools,

appliances, services,supplies, and incidentals and of performing all operations in

connection with thisproject for each generator replacement, in strict accordance with these plans,specifications, and the contract documents.

For complete Projectinformation, refer to Attachments H-1, Project Drawings, and H-2, Project Specifications, to the Exhibit C – Draft GeneralConstruction Services Contract .

Project Estimate: The approximate cost for construction of the Project is $14,000,000.00 .

HHSC will conduct one(1) optional pre-proposal webinar that will be held on the date and timedescribed below. Attendance at the pre-proposal webinar is optional,and attendance at one (1) site visit is mandatory .

Mandatory JobsiteWalkthroughs: All Respondents arerequired to attend one Facility Site Visit as specified in Section 2.2 (Schedule of Events). Potential Respondents should be prepared to complete oneof the scheduled tours; additional tours will not be offered.
