DNR-FRD- FLAT RIVER CONCRETE APPROACHES

Pave concrete approaches at Flat River Field office. See attached diagram. 2 separate areas of concrete needed: Area 1 attached to main office current concrete an extension of 68 feet by 10 feet Area 2 attached to cold storage current concrete an extension of 40 feet by 13 feet. REVISION Addenda 1: Concrete slabs to be 5 thick. Edge the concrete around the perimeter and at all tooled joints, broomed finish. Base Layer of 21AA, 21A, crushed gravel or comparable alternate min. 4 in thickness compacted. Concrete reinforced with 3/8 rebar, 4 OC, each way. Control joints installed perpendicular to building on Area 1 and both directions on Area 2, 10 or less intervals, equally spaced, min. 1 deep. Control joints may be pre-formed material, hand tooled, or by saw cutting. Spoils to be left on site for DNR disposal. DNR will apply penetrating sealer 30 days after initial placement.
