The Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Birdie Drive Stormwater Improvement Project (Phase 1 and 2) (the ¿Project¿), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the bidder or contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be ¿turnkey¿ and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.

The Phase 1 work to be performed shall include installing an engineered Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner in an existing 15-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) storm system with a total length of approximately 197 linear feet. Phase 2 includes installing (spin-casting) an engineered centrifugally cast concrete pipe (CCCP) liner in approximately 454 linear feet of existing 36-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) located near the property at 3995 Birdie Drive. The plans for the Birdie Drive Stormwater Improvement Project (Phase 1 and 2), have been prepared by the Authority, Dane Hanson, P.E., dated March 2, 2026. Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the Project scope.

All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right-of-way. All anticipated rights-of-way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.

Parties interested in this Invitation for Bids must obtain a copy of the full bid package or their bids will be considered nonresponsive. Bid packages must be obtained for the nominal cost of $25.00 by contacting the Authority¿s Purchasing Departm
