UNR - Repair Boilers at Utility Plant

**NSHE recently migrated to a new payment system that requires all of our vendors register with the system in order for our Controllers office to allow us to pay you. This process only needs to be completed once. If your company is listed and shows the Supplier Status as anything other than “Accepted” then there are still steps that must be completed before your registration is approved.
**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.
**Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.

Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. The project consists of installing new boiler plant controls at each of the three boilers (#2, #3, and #4) main controls, control center controls, including sensors, and any other associated equipment necessary to install up to date boiler controls and plant controls.

Special Considerations: Boiler #2 must be completed first, followed by #3 and then #4. Plan such that only one boiler may be down at a time. Work on boiler #2 can start no earlier than May 1st and must be completed no later than June 15th.  Contractor must have experience programming boiler combustion control systems utilizing Allen Bradley hardware and software.

Liquidated Damages: $500/day

Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and an installation floater to provide coverage for equipment and materials will be required. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "March 7, 2025" and shall be fully complete by "September 12, 2025."
