Well Inspection, Cleaning, and Rehabilitation Services for Matlock Well 1 & Well 2

General work description:The City of Granbury is seeking qualified contractors to provide inspection, cleaning, and rehabilitation services for Matlock Well 1 and Matlock Well 2. This project involves diagnosing and repairing a potential mechanical failure in Matlock Well 1, as well as cleaning and restoring the performance of Matlock Well 2 due to rust and scale buildup.

Matlock Well 1 is believed to be leaking water back into the well during periods of inactivity, potentially due to a failed check valve or a damaged drop pipe. The selected contractor will be responsible for pulling the well, conducting a thorough inspection, identifying the cause of the leak, and recommending necessary repairs with itemized pricing.

Matlock Well 2 is experiencing issues with rusty particulates being discharged, which are affecting system components such as the chlorine injection screen. The scope includes pulling the well, cleaning and rehabilitating the casing, inspecting all downhole components, and providing a report with recommendations and itemized pricing for any further repairs.
