Project Title: Ambulance, Type III
Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the manufacture and delivery of one (1) new Type III ambulance for Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services. This vehicle will serve as a frontline unit, supporting the County’s mission to provide timely, professional, and effective prehospital emergency care to the residents and visitors of Beaufort County. The requested ambulance must meet or exceed all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as current industry standards (e.g., NFPA 1917, KKK-A-1822F, and CAAS-GVS). The selected vendor shall ensure the ambulance is engineered for durability, ease of maintenance, patient and provider safety, and operational readiness in both urban and rural environments across the County’s jurisdiction.
