HOUSE SPECIFICATIONS

PROPOSAL SHEET

Demolition and removal of improvements at:

5703 W. McCarty Avenue, Peoria, IL 61607

DEMOLITION OF: Those persons interested in submitting a proposal for the demolition of the structure(s)

should state in their bid proposal the cost of removing ALL debris (including, but not limited to the building(s),

driveway, and parking lot, and shrubbery as directed by the Airport Authority from the site, removing all foundation

walls a minimum of three (3) feet below grade and fill basement with clean fill, and properly capping or terminating

all utilities, removal or filling of any septic systems or wells and backfill, and ready to seed. Also to be included is a

copy of the Certificate of Insurance, stating the bidder has the appropriate insurance for general liability, workman’s

compensation, unemployment, and an endorsement INCLUDING demolition coverage. The proposal must be

submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “HOUSE DEMOLITION BID PROPOSAL” (insert address of

structure(s)), and date the envelope with the date of the bid opening.

The successful bidder shall be responsible for securing all necessary authorizations and permits to accomplish the

work being bid.

The successful bidder will have sixty (60) days after the date of award to demolition all improvements. If property

is not demolished after this time period a $200/month charge will be assessed on the successful bidder.

As required by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the successful bidder must pay not less than the general prevailing

wage rate of hourly wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics employed on this public works project.

The Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria reserves the right to reject any or all

proposals, to waive technicalities in any or all bids, and to accept the most advantageous bid as to the price, quality,

and adaptability for the work to be performed. It you are an interested in a site visit, please contact Randy

receive sealed proposals until 10:00 A.M. CDT on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Administrative Offices of the

Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria, 6100 W. Everett McKinley Dirksen Pkwy., Peoria, Illinois 61607, at

which time said proposals will be publicly opened and read for:
