REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR THE STATISTICAL REVALUATION OF ALL REAL ESTATE LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
TOWN OF BARRINGTON, RI 02806 WITH AN EFFECTIVE DATE 12/31/2026
The Town of Barrington is seeking proposals for the statistical update of all real estate. We hereby formally invite registered firms to submit a proposal for the above-described project, to be installed on a Windows Network with a maximum of five (5) users. The Town of Barrington has approximately six-thousand, seven-hundred and ninety eight (6,698) parcels of real estate.
Request For Proposal/Scope of Specifications may be obtained at the Barrington Town Hall, 283 County Road, Barrington RI (Clerk's Office) , Monday 8:30 am thru 7:00 pm; Tuesday through Thursday 8:30am thru 4:30pm; and Friday 8:30 am thru 12:00 pm.
All proposals shall be sealed and addressed to the Tax Assessor's Office and marked:
"Town of Barrington, RI - Proposals for Statistical Revaluation as of 12/31/2026"
03/18/26 at 2:00pm - last day to submit proposals, bid opening at 2:00pm
03/27/26 Review of all qualified bids to be completed and recommendation made to Town Council
04/06/26 Town Council will award winning bid (or, first Town Council meeting after bid review)
04/24/26 Signed contract and proof of bonding must be submitted to the Town Manager
06/01/26 Field work to begin by this date
08/14/26 CAMA installation / Data conversion (if necessary) must be finished
04/16/27 Final values to be turned over to Tax Assessor
