Sealed bids for the project funded in full or in part with Federal and State Funds for the reconstruction
and new roadway alignment of approximately 7,640 linear feet of Mississippi Avenue from Lonnie
Abbott Blvd. to Tower Rd. The project will include demolition and removal of existing concrete
pavement, erosion control, temporary traffic control, construction of new concrete pavement, aggregate
base pavement, storm sewer pipe and inlets, culvert pipe installation, RCB installations, sidewalk ramp
installations, signing, pavement marking, water line installation, and sanitary sewer installation.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as a Base Bid and
Bid Alternate No. 1.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 P.M., local time, February 18, 2026, at the
following location: The City of Ada – City Hall Council Chambers, 231 S. Townsend St., Ada, OK 74820
Electronic set of Bid Documents must be obtained for bidding purposes from Burns & McDonnell Engi-
neering Company through QuestCDN, upon payment of a $22.00 non-refundable deposit to QuestCDN.
Bidding Documents for use in preparing bids may be viewed and downloaded by registering with
QuestCDN online at www.QuestCDN.com and entering QuestCDN project number 10040939 in the empty
search box. Interested bidders can also contact Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company at
smgilliam@burnsmcd.com for additional assistance in obtaining the Bid Documents. Bidders may view
the Bidding Documents at no cost on QuestCDN and/or at the offices of the Owner; however, to be con-
sidered a Plan Holder, Bidders shall register on www.QuestCDN.com and download the documents. Only
registered Plan Holders will receive addenda and Bid Updates. Bids received from Bidders who are not
recorded as registered Plan Holders through QuestCDN as having received the Bid Documents and
addendums, if any, shall not be opened.
Bids will be received by The City of Ada until 1:30 P.M., local time, March 5, 2026. Bids received after
this time will not be accepted. Bids will be received at The City of Ada – Purchasing Department, 512 N.
Stockton Ave, Ada, OK 74820.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Engineering Project Manager, or designee, at 2:00
P.M., local time, March 5, 2026, at The City of Ada-City Hall Council Chambers, 231 S. Townsend
St., Ada, OK 74820
Pre-qualification of Bidders will not be required. Owner will evaluate Bidders in accordance with the
Instructions to Bidders.
Bid security in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of total
bid price shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids shall be in accordance with the Bid Documents.
The Work shall be Substantially Completed within one-hundred eighty (180) calendar days after the date
when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in the GENERAL CONDITIONS, and completed
and ready for final payment in accordance with the GENERAL CONDITIONS within two-hundred ten
(210) calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Areas to be Substantially
Complete by date stated above includes all work indicated in the Contract Documents.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders
shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim
brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind
against the Owner because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall
constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
