Summary

The County of Sacramento Department of Airports is seeking a qualified firm, partnership, corporation, association, persons, or professional organizations as construction manager at-risk (“CMAR” or “Firm”) to perform pre-construction and construction services for the Sacramento International Airport Terminal A Chiller Capacity Upgrade.

CMARs that intend to submit a SOQ must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Ability to provide adequate bonds and insurance commensurate with the work to be performed

• Hold a Class B or higher Contractors License which is current, valid, and in good standing with the California Contractors State License Board

• Be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and qualified to perform public work as required by California Labor Code sections 1771.5 and 1725.5

• Have delivered projects using CMAR delivery method and managed work through Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts

• Ability to deliver similar projects within performance period and budget

• Experience working with government agencies and with public works projects, including applicable public contracting and labor compliance requirements

In addition, experience in the following areas is desired:

• Working in secured public areas

• Working in an operational setting that interacts with the public

• Experience with complex equipment replacement projects
