Additional Instructions
The Maryland Department
of Health (MDH or the Department), Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) for an organization to provide programming and services that will assist pediatric primary care providers in assessing, diagnosing and treating behavioral health conditions through consultations and education, behavioral health workforce expansion, addressing the gap in child and adolescent mental health services, particularly in rural and remote communities with limited access to these types of services. The Applicant will include a timeline outlining the plan for delivery around provider outreach and engagement, training programs, consultation assistance and support, workforce development and expansion. Applicant must have experience providing training, consultation services and behavioral health workforce development. This includes collaborating with a variety of pediatric providers in both somatic and behavioral health fields to ensure comprehensive, culturally responsive services across the state.
