PROJECT TITLE: Bid Build (BB) Upgrade Fire Pumps, Install Wet Pipe Systems, & Replace Various Sprinkler Heads, Project No. 516-25-610 CONTRACT TYPE: Bid Build (BB), Firm Fixed Price PROJECT SUMMARY: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary for the following work: Bid-Build project to replace obsolete fire pump in building 103 and program controls to ensure proper operation of the pumps. Add fire sprinkler system to building 35 (there is no system currently in building 35) and the auditorium of building 20. Upgrade fire sprinkler system in buildings 2 and 37. Project is located at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL 33744 Period of performance is 270 days. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 OFFICE ISSUING THIS REQUEST: Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 Point of Contact: Stacy Figlinski, Contracting Officer Email: Stacy.Figlinski@va.gov The Solicitation for this project will be issued on or about March 4, 2026.
