This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-06 (eff.08/29/2024), VAAM Alert 24-10 (eff. 04/09/2024), and Acquisition Policy Flash 24-08 (eff. 05/22/2024).
Contractor is required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and certified with the Small Business administrative (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) as a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Vendor quote may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify registration and certification status.
The Alexandria VA Medical Center (ALXVAMC), 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, LA 71360-4044 is seeking a contractor to provide all supplies, labor, maintenance, repairs, and services to replace the Security Cameras with Hardware/Software/Install (Brand Name or Equal). This solicitation is a SDVOSB set-aside and is open to all capable concerns. The government expects this announcement to result in a Firm-Fixed Price Single-Award contract.
The Alexandria VA Healthcare System ALXVAMC at 2495 Shreveport Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360 will hold a technical site visit/s on November 12, 2024, from 9:00am thru 2:00pm (CT) at Building (BLDG) 5, second (2nd) floor, Room Number 212. Vendors shall meet the technical site visit coordinator and escort; Mr. Cory Fry at building 5 rear entrance by the large oak tree. We ask that vendors to please utilize name plates for identification proposes and sign in on sign-in sheet on day of event. Vendors shall RSVP a time block on technical site visit date with to Fry, Cory L.(ALX) Cory.Fry@va.gov and Van Mol, Jennifer (ALX) Jennifer.VanMol@va.gov.
