Description
Scope
Training contract to cover 4 scheduled classes for 109 employee s total.
(2) of 4 scheduled classes will be conducted 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
(1) of 4 scheduled classes will be conducted 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
(1) of 4 scheduled classes will be conducted 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Specific Tasks
The safety course shall cover the following itemizes listed below and to include a final exam for each student:
Height Hazard identification (How to control / eliminate) fall hazards.
Discuss the Hierarchy of Fall Protection (How to select the best control measures).
OSHA Standards CFR 1910.28 Duty to have Fall Protection (General Industry Standard).
Walking & Working Final Rule January 17, 2017 (review & discuss).
The proper use of Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) using manufacturer s specifications.
Emphasis on proper use of Harnesses and Lanyard use and care. (Demonstrations)
A B Cs of Fall Protection. What are they and why is it important to know them.
Emphasis on the use of portable roof anchors (temporary & permanent roof anchors)
JLG Scissor Lift & Boom Lifting Training Specific to Model # 2630ES / # E400 AJPN
Exam Each student will be required to complete a written exam 80% or higher to pass.
Each student is to receive a Certificate of Course Completion each student will receive with a passing grade.
Certifications/licenses required to perform the work
Compliance with OSHA Standard CFR 1910.28
