Shawnee Park Outdoor Learning Center

Project Description: Louisville Parks and Recreation is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new Outdoor Learning Center located within Shawnee Park at 4501 West Broadway, Louisville, Kentucky 40211. The project is intended to support inclusive, educational, and community-focused outdoor programming and will be designed to be welcoming and accessible to visitors of all ages and abilities. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the complete construction of the Outdoor Learning Center. Work may include site preparation and earthwork; installation of new utility connections (including water, sewer, electrical, and data as required); concrete foundations and flatwork; structural framing; roofing systems; exterior and interior walls; windows and doors; and interior finishes such as flooring, carpentry, and related architectural elements.
