Sealed bids must be marked “2025 - 2026 Demolition Bid Package (2)” and submitted to the City Clerk's Office, City of Belleville, 101 South Illinois Street, Belleville, Illinois 62220, by 10:00am, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, for the demolition and clearing of fourteen (14) parcels/lots in the City of Belleville, after which, at 10:00am bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. The lowest and most responsible bid is anticipated to be awarded at the May 4, 2026 City Council  meeting. The bid package  may be obtained from the City of Belleville, Health Housing & Building Department located at 2300 West Main St., Suite M113, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or online at https:// www.belleville.net/bids.aspx

Qualifications:
Bidders will be required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et seq.), and Public Act 96-1064 - Business Enterprise Program

Per City of Belleville Ordinance, the successful bidder will be required to execute a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Council for this project.

Miscellaneous:
The City of Belleville reserves the right to waive any informality or technicality and to reject any or all bids. Contractors that are on the City of Belleville contractor suspension list will not be allowed to bid. (Allow ten days for review). All work must be done in accordance with all City of Belleville Ordinances.
