DOC is seeking vendors utilizing the Demonstration Project Challenge Based Procurement Method who can implement a program model that will: • Improve educational outcomes, as measured by the number of students passing (sections of) the high school equivalency exam. • Improve basic literacy and numeracy skills as measured by a standardized pre and post assessment tool. • Improve mastery of the English language, as measured by a standardized pre and post assessment tool. • Improve post secondary educational outcomes, as measured by the number of college credits earned. • Increase access to educational services, solving for security and staffing barriers. • Tailor services to the diverse needs of incarcerated individuals, offering targeted subject assistance. • Enhance student engagement, creating an engaging learning environment that encourages active participation. • Streamline the assessment and enrollment process for students deemed ready by parties other than the DOE to take sections of the high school equivalency exam.
