REQUEST FOR BIDS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, CONSTRUCTION
SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
2024 LMIG ROADWAY STRIPING, ROUND TWO
FOR
LIBERTY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM BY INSERTING ITS NUMBER IN THE PROPOSAL. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY SUBJECT BONA FIDE PROPOSERS TO DISQUALIFICATION. THIS ADDENDUM FORMS A PART OF THE PROJECT DOCUMENTS; IT MODIFIES THEM AS FOLLOWS:
1. Comment: Will the County clip/Blade the edges of the roadway prior to installation of edgelines?
Response: The contractor shall be responsible for all clearing of dust, dirt, grease, oil, and all foreign matter prior to striping as stated in the notes on sheets C3.1-C3.26. This includes any grass, soil, or sand that would inhibit the thermoplastic bonding to the pavement.
