APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Embassy of the United States of America in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks proposals for electrical repairs and upgrades at the U.S. Embassy Annex located in Arqa at Wadi Haneefah Street. The contractor will upgrade and expand the existing electrical infrastructure to support new office loads in Freedom Hall. Work includes AC power provisions, distribution panel upgrades, LED lighting replacement, workstation circuits, cable routing and terminations, and coordination with mechanical and civil disciplines.
The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror that meets all solicitation requirements. The Government may award the contract based on initial offers without discussion.
The anticipated performance period is one month from the date the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. All responsible sources may submit proposals electronically to RiyadhContracting@state.gov.
The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference, and the date will be included in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in SAM prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register before submitting quotations or proposals.
Please note this solicitation is not ready for issuance at this time. When available, the Embassy of the United States in Saudi Arabia will post the solicitation on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov.
Guidelines for registration in SAM are available at: https://common.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/130/2023/07/Quick-Start-Guide-for-International-Registrations-1.pdf and https://common.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/130/2023/07/Entity-checklist.pdf.
