Sealed bids from licensed contractors for the Gillham Water Project will be received for Town of Gillham, AR. Mayor Lester Overturf; 1942 US 71-N; Gillham, AR 71841 at the Quest Web Service detailed below. All bids will be “SEALED” until the opening at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 21st 2025 and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists of: Furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to replace 7,416 LF of asbestos water lines with PVC, tie into existing water lines, install steel encasement, fire hydrant assemblies, trenching, backfilling and other necessary requirements to adhere to plans and specifications. Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the online MCE Plan Holders List; therefore, all prime bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from the MCE online plan room in order to be included in the Plan Holders List and submit a bid. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
