Sources Sought for ADA Paratransit Services
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice shall NOT be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the City of Minot. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the City of Minot will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the City of Minot.
The City of Minot is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested vendors capable of providing services to meet the requirement. The City of Minot may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes.
The City of Minot is seeking vendors that have the qualifications and capability to provide ADA Paratransit Services as per the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Regulation 49 CFR Parts 37. Service is demand-response origin to destination service for persons with disabilities who are ADA Paratransit eligible. This service will be provided Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm within the Minot City Limits.
The company provided services will include:

Drivers
-
Reservationists/Dispatchers
-
Maintenance, storage, and fuel for company owned vehicles

Record keeping functions as required by the City of Minot, State of North Dakota, and the Federal Transit Administration

Vehicles to supplement service needs

Transit software to schedule, track, and report on all ridership and trips performed
The City of Minot will provide:

Three ADA compliant handi-cap accessible mini-vans

Insurance, maintenance, and fuel for city provided vehicles
This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the City of Minot’s market research. No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ.
Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the City of Minot can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. The City of Minot does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought.
All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The City of Minot reserves the right to ask follow-up clarifying questions to individual companies based on proprietary information submitted without posting those questions.
Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. The City of Minot will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought.
The City of Minot requests that interested parties respond to this notice in writing including details of your company’s ability to deliver the required ADA Paratransit Services. Qualified vendors shall submit a statement of interest on company letterhead demonstrating the firm’s qualifications to perform the defined work. Responses must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following:
