Description
The National Park Service (NPS), Mammoth Cave National Park, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a vendor to provide all the necessary personnel, material, and equipment to provide extraction, sandblasting, painting, and transportation of the Green River Ferry to and
from its operational site at the Green River Crossing in Mammoth Cave National Park. The ferry will be
temporarily moved to a designated maintenance area (approximately 2 miles away) to undergo surface
preparation and repainting. During this period, the ferry will be out of service. All painting and coating will be performed using airless sprayers, rollers, and brushes to ensure a high-quality finish free from imperfections such as cloudiness, spotting, or runs.
