LEGAL NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Gulfport, Mississippi, in the Purchasing
Department, located at 1422 23rd Avenue, Jones Building, Gulfport, Mississippi, until May
7, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST, and then publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
GROUP D - DEPLOYABLE CAMERA SYSTEMS (POLICE DEPARTMENT)
The purpose of this bid is to establish a term contract for the furnishing of deployable
camera systems, including solar-powered and 120V-powered configurations, along with
all necessary equipment and programming services for the Gulfport Police Department.
Bid documents and specifications may be obtained from the City of Gulfport Purchasing
Department PlanRoom at www.gulfportmsbids.com , at 1422 23rd Avenue, Jones Building,
Gulfport, Mississippi 39501, or by contacting the Purchasing Department at
jversiga@gulfport-ms.gov.
Bids submitted after the designated date and time will not be considered. No bidder may
withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Minority and Women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime
contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting
opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs.
The successful bidder must adhere to the City's policy concerning non-discrimination
without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap.
Direct contact with any City employee, GRC Commissioners, including Administration and
City Council, on the subject of this proposal is strictly forbidden. Violation of this paragraph
will result in disqualification of your submission.
