The work generally consists of providing concrete repair of curbing and sidewalks which have been disturbed during water and wastewater installations by the City of Lancaster or its contractors prior to or during the term of the contract.

Further, consideration will be given to such matters as contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources.
The City reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder not possessing satisfactory qualifications.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if the best interest of the City will thereby be promoted. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects if in its judgment, the interest of the City shall so require. The City further reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids received and reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever. Included in its right to reject bids, is the right for the City, in its sole discretion, to reject bids which are deemed by the City to be incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions, erasures, alterations, omissions or irregularities of any kind.
