The primary objective of this RFP is to select a consultant to provide on-call communications and community services on a seasonal basis. Consultants will support and augment the communications plans and strategies of both the City of Springfield and the Springfield Redevelopment Authority and various event coordinators, as it relates to holiday marketing, communications and outreach activities.
The term of the awarded contract will be for one year, with the possibility of two one year extension at the sole discretion of the SRA. The initial contract value is not to exceed $125,000.

All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be submitted to the SRA in writing only, no later than Thursday, October 23, 2025, by 2:00 PM.

The SRA supports minority and women (M/WBE) participation, as well as hiring residents of Springfield, in all contracts. This request does not create a binding obligation on the part of the SRA with any respondent. The SRA reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all proposals or any parts thereof deemed not to be in the best interest of the public and/or the SRA.

The SRA Governing Board will make a final selection and approve the contract, subject to appropriations.
