Qualified Contractors are invited to submit an offer for Oakville High School Restroom Renovations. Sealed Bids will be received by Mr. Mike Gegg, at the Mehlville School District Jefferson Barracks Building, 69 Randolph Place, St. Louis, Missouri 63125 before 2:00 p.m. local time on April 7, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

The project consists of renovating (3) restrooms and (1) Custodial Closet at Oakville High School. Contract Documents will be available on March 12, 2026. Contractors may obtain electronic documents and/or printed documents from County Blue Reprographics, www.countyblue.com, (314) 961-3800. A refundable deposit of $100.00 is required for printed documents. Checks to be made payable to the Mehlville School District.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding.

The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission.

Contractor shall comply with the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Prevailing Wage Rates and be enrolled in the E-Verify Federal Work Authorization Program.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site, Oakville High School, 5557 Milburn Road, St. Louis, MO, at 3:00 p.m. on March 24, 2026. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend, but attendance is not mandatory. Site inspections before or after this date shall be arranged through Mike Gegg at (314) 467-7870 a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the inspection. Contractors are responsible for field verifying all conditions and dimensions.

Mehlville School District - Summer 2026: Interior Door Replacement

Sealed bids will be received (and subsequently publicly opened) for 2026 Interior Door Replacement Project for Mehlville School District no later than exactly 2:00 PM on April 1, 2026 at the Mehlville School District Facilities/Operations Office, 69 Randolph Place, St. Louis, MO 63125.

The work shall be completed by a qualified general contractor who shall submit a turn-key proposal for the door replacement work for at Mehlville School District (Various Campuses) as specified and as required by code. Only contractors meeting the requirements within the specifications will be considered as qualified bidders.

Contract documents will be available Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Facility Solutions Group, 901 Horan Drive, Fenton, MO 63026. Contact Dan Childress at 636-236-6706 for contract documents.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at the Mehlville School District Facilities/Operations Office, 69 Randolph Place, St. Louis, MO.

Bidders must provide, with the bid, a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the proposed contract sum. No cashier checks allowed.

All Bidders whose bids are in excess of $5,000.00 must provide with their bid the Federal Work Authorization Program (“FWAP”) Affidavit of Compliance and Verification Form with respect to employees working in connection with the contracted services, affirming enrollment in a FWAP.

Proposals shall be submitted on the forms provided by the Mehlville School District. No other type of submittal will be considered. Proposals shall be enclosed in an opaque envelope, sealed and plainly marked "Proposals for Mehlville – 2026 Interior Door Replacement” and mailed or delivered to Mehlville School District, Facilities / Operations Office Building, 69 Randolph Place, St. Louis, MO 63125.

No proposal can be withdrawn after the time set for the receiving of proposal and pending consideration and action upon same by the Board of Education. In no event, however, will action upon proposals be deferred beyond forty-five (45) days from the date hereinbefore set forth for receiving of same.

The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. The successful contractor will be required to agree to the contract, which will be based on the applicable AIA contract, prepared by Mehlville School District.

Performance & Payment Bonds

Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the proposal will be required by the successful primary contractor using sub-contractors. The cost of the bonds will be the responsibility of the selected contractor.
