PROJECT SCHEDULE/DURATION:

• Anticipated Contract Issuance/Notice to Proceed: February 2026

• Construction is planned to start: March 16, 2026

• Project Duration: 12 weeks

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF WORK:

The work consists of demolition and disposal of existing building components and equipment not

limited to mechanical units and their CFC’s, and furniture and supplies within the building. Removal of existing

light and pole for owner reuse, and removal and disposal of light pole base. Removal and disposal of

sidewalks, and abandoned utility infrastructure below grade. Piers shall be cut down and disposed. Excavate

and grade area to allow for expansion of the parking lot. Install new subgrade and bituminous in accordance

with the construction documents, install new existing topsoil to be removed, transported, stockpiled,

reloaded, transported and placed back on the project site.

Contractor shall provide test pits, soil samples and testing results as outlined in the construction

documents for Engineer of Record’s review of the soil characterization prior to proceeding with excavation.

Excavate material to the depth outlined within the construction documents, load, deliver and dispose of

material off-site to regulated facilities identified by the contractor in support of the in-scope quantity

allowances.

A note to all contractors: A portion of the building parcel has a landfill liner cap at certain depths.

Contractors are to use extreme care when working in the area of the liner cover system to avoid damage to

it. Hand digging is to be assumed to prevent damaging the integrity of the cover system during all work,

including but not limited to demolition of the building, cutting of existing piers, removal of abandoned

utilities, and excavation to subgrade for new construction.
