FY26 Kingston Estates Water Main Improvements

City of Bradenton (“City”), will receive bids on the date indicated in OpenGov for the purpose of selecting a Contractor to provide construction of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water mains by open-cut method including valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and water meters; removing trench asphalt pavement; abandoning existing water main: disinfecting and testing; final milling and paving; and other appurtenances and materials as specified in the solicitation documents.

The City has identified the Kingston Estates neighborhood, built in the early 1970s, as an area of improvement for the water distribution system. The Work includes replacing the original water mains and adjacent connections with new 8” C-900 mains and increasing the number of fire hydrants to ensure adequate fire flow.
