BIDS FOR ASBESTOS ABATEMENT

22 S 10 ^TH AVENUE WEST

DICKINSON, NORTH DAKOTA

The City of Dickinson is accepting sealed bids for the complete asbestos abatement at 22 S 10 ^th Avenue West in Dickinson, North Dakota.

Bids shall be mailed to: City of Dickinson Building Official, Attn: Tiffany Stewart, 38 1st Street West, Dickinson, ND 58601.

The bid deadline is no later than 2:00 PM, Wednesday December 17 ^th , 2025. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened at the Dickinson City Hall, 38 1 ^st Street West, Dickinson, North Dakota.

This project will consist of the complete abatement of asbestos containing materials located at 22 S 10 ^th Avenue West in the City of Dickinson. The demolition of this property has been approved by the City of Dickinson City Commission.

The City anticipates the following scope of work. Be advised the following list is a summary of the scope of work regarding the specific abatement areas. A full report may be obtained by contacting the City.

1. Abatement of asbestos containing materials, including but not limited to:
   1. Green Linoleum & Black Mastic: Kitchen Apartment 9
   2. White Finishing Compound: Living Room Apartment 9
   3. White Textured Surfacing: Dining Room Apartment 9
   4. Brown Tile: NW Bedroom, Apartment 9
   5. Gray Tile & Black Mastic: NW Bedroom Apartment 9
   6. Gray Tile: Entryway Apartment 10
   7. Gray Tile: Living Room Apartment 10
   8. Tan Linoleum & Tan Mastic: Bathroom Apartment 10
   9. Brown Tile: Front Entry Apartment 10
   10. Tan Tile: Front Entry Apartment 10
   11. Gray Tile: Front Entry Apartment 10
   12. Off White Linoleum: Kitchen Apartment 4
   13. Tan Tile: Bedroom Apartment 4
   14. Black Tile: Bedroom Apartment 4

2. Disposal at the approved City of Dickinson Landfill
3. Complete a Notification of Demolition and Renovation and file it with the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality 10 days prior to beginning removal
4. All miscellaneous work required to complete the project

Landfill costs shall not be included in the bid as they will be directly assessed to the property at the conclusion of the project.

The work shall be completed by March 1, 2026.

The City of Dickinson has the right to reject any and all bids.
