Project Description: The work to be included in the Construction Contract is generally described as remodeling and refinishing the north and south showers in Pod C of the Ada County Jail. This includes, but is not limited to, the installation of new plumbing fixtures, grab bars, and epoxy finishes, along with upgrades to venting, ductwork, and lighting, and providing power to new mechanical equipment, as more specifically detailed in the Project Manual specifications and drawings (the “Project”). Additionally, the contractor and/or subcontractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required mechanical and electrical trade permits for the installation of new fans at the shower areas, including any roof penetrations necessary for to complete the work. The work for the Project will take place inside the Ada County Jail, specifically inside the jail facility and its secure areas.
