Synopsis:
|
|
The Water Security Agency (WSA) requires a GPR survey and underslab drainage camera inspection of
the Gardiner Dam spillway chute slab due to concerns about potential voids. A 2010 drain inspection
revealed a collapse that may have resulted in voids, and a follow-up inspection was recommended. This
investigation aims to map voids and assess the current condition of the drainage system to ensure the
dam's structural integrity.

(Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible
for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water
supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater,
reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply
channels.
