Description

30th Operations Support Squadron requests authorization to execute a Firm Fixed Price single source purchase for ADB SafeGate Airfield lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) modification and expansion to include industrial mobile control system platforms for the Airfield Operations Flight and 30 CES at Buildings 1747 and 1748. The support includes four mobile control station antennas, wireless radio control hub, 3 industrial mobile control station laptops, Tower touch screen monitor, software modifications, and on-site turn-key installation, integration, certification and training.. The ALCMS computer control system and associated hardware on the airfield lighting system will be modified to in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and the ADB SafeGate Americas, LLC quotation.



Market research indicates that ADB SafeGate Americas, LLC is only local company capable of fulfilling this requirement due to the lack of competition for this specialized service.



The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This is a notice of intent to award a sole source action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days of publication of this Special Notice.



Firms who want to challenge the sole source determination must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. Respond to the below point of contact by 29 July 2025, 1300 (PST). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is soley within discretion of the Government. The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing capability information.
