Amendment 0001 contains changes to the anticipated work schedule for second year of construction. An in-water work waiver was approved which allows second year construction to begin on 15 APRIL 2027. These changes are reflected in Section 01 35 13 of the attached Plans and Specs. In addition to this change to the work schedule, this amendment also contains information on a virtual pre-bid meeting which will be held on 20 JANUARY 2026 at 10:00 AM EST. A link to access this virtual meeting can be found at the end of Section L in the attached SF30. This posting is a solicitation to award a contract for a project on the Lorain Harbor on Lake Erie in the state of Ohio. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 ? Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive procurement. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The USACE, Buffalo District, requires the repair and rehabilitation of the Lorain Harbor West Breakwater in Lorain, Ohio. The breakwater is critical for harbor protection and safe navigation. The project will restore the structural integrity of the breakwater, which has experienced significant deterioration due to age and environmental conditions. Bonding will be required for this project; any offeror shall have the proper capabilities. Please be advised that this requirement may be delayed, revised, or cancelled at any time before award.
