The City of Oakland’s Police Department (OPD) is seeking a qualified mechanical firm to provide as needed maintenance and repair of law enforcement helicopters. These services are required for two (2) MD500E helicopters and one (1) Schweizer 300CBi Helicopter. These three (3) helicopters are integral to supporting OPD in crime prevention and detection. The safety of helicopter crew, and the public require that OPD’s helicopters are regularly maintained for mission readiness.
