The Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) seeks proposals, with a not-to-exceed fee of 650,000, to develop a Transportation Study for the Vernon Street Bridge I-290 Interchange in Worcester, MA. The study will identify and evaluate development program options, conceptual design solutions based on community visioning sessions, and technical requirements for different scenarios to bridge the existing I-290 and reconnect neighborhoods.
The study will be conducted by a consultant or a team of consultants contracted by CMRPC. This project is funded through the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Economic Development's Community One Stop for Growth Program.
