City of Lacombe
The City of Lacombe (City) invites submissions from general contractors interested in pursuing prequalification status for the provision of design build team for the City of Lacombe Fire Station #1 as set out in this request. Respondents must be actively engaged in the line of work required to perform the scope of work identified and must be able to refer to work of a similar nature performed by them.

The project includes construction of a new five-bay fire station in the Woodland neighbourhood at 4410 Woodland Drive, Lacombe, Alberta. An EMS station will be connected to the Fire Station; while the two will function as single facilities, the EMS component will operate as a distinct area. Opportunities for shared mechanical and electrical systems may be explored; however, systems should be considered separate at this stage. The final building area will be confirmed in alignment with the approved construction budget.
