DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Parachute rigging support to pack military free fall RA-1 main and reserve parachutes, RA-1 Double Bag Static Line configuration parachutes, and non-tactical (standard) ram-air parachute systems main and reserve.

Requirements: In order for a parachute rigger to be qualified to pack military free fall RA-1 main and reserve parachutes, RA-1 Double Bag Static Line configuration parachutes, non-tactical (standard) ram-air parachute systems main and reserve, and military tandem main and reserve parachutes, they must be an FAA certified senior rigger (with back style rating) or master rigger. Additionally, they must have attended a course certifying them to pack the aforementioned parachute systems.

The scope of services includes the following: The riggers will be required to inspect and pack the aforementioned parachute systems during the specified dates and times.

WORK SCHEDULE, PLANS, AND WORKING HOURS Workdays for this contract are outlined below, but could adjust due to weather and unforeseen circumstances:

17 February – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

18 February – 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
-
19 February – 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
-
20 February – 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
AVAILABILITY OF UTILITY SERVICES: All reasonable quantities of utilities will be made available to the contractor. The Government shall not be held responsible for interruptions of utility services, and will not be liable for contractor delays, damages, or increased costs incurred by any such interruption of service.
SAFETY REQUREMENTS: Contractors are expected to follow all safety measure outlined in the applicable regulations and technical orders all military parachute riggers are required to follow.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLITIES: Provide four senior/master parachute riggers for jump trip support for the required dates.
GOVERNMENT WILL PROVIDE: Facility to pack parachutes, Carpet or padded area to pack on, All misc. expendable items used for packing (rubber bands, closing loops, etc…).
