The Contractor shall provide pesticide application services for the locations detailed in Section C-2.5. The objective is to eliminate vegetation in designated areas to maintain operational integrity and safety.

Examples of acceptable active ingredients include glyphosate and imazapyr formulated for aquatic use.

2. The Contractor shall submit an Annual Pesticide Control Plan, Appendix I, detailing all proposed pesticides for review and approval by the District Environmental Compliance Coordinator (ECC), via the COR. No pesticide shall be used until written approval is granted.

3. Pesticides shall be applied strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's label. Mixing or storing pesticides on USACE property is prohibited. The Contractor shall use a spray pattern indicator (dye) in all spraying operations.

Please refer to the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional details. The PWS is provided for informational purposes only and is subject to revision at the sole discretion of the Government.
