The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Renee-Rae Technical Services Inc., CAGE: 3P8D7 for the issuance of a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ will be for the procurement of fabrication and refurbishment of antenna components for the AS-2188/U, AS-4328/U, AS-177B/UPX, and the AS-2189/U Identify Friend or Foe(IFF) antennas. The Government anticipates delivery orders to be issued on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis.
Renee-Rae Technical Services Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and sole distributor of the antenna components. The Renee-Rae Technical Services Inc. antenna components are the only antenna components compatible with the existing IFF Antennas.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
