NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - LASTWALL CORP

The United States Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Services (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) intends to award a sole source contract to Lastwall Corp., 4024 40TH Street North, Arlington, Virginia 22207-4608 to Secure Identity, Advanced Authentication, Identity-Enabled Data Protection and Encryption services. DIU requires Secure Identity, Advanced Authentication, Identity-Enabled Data Protection and Encryption services to the next generation internet security service and system that will work with DIU’s current infrastructure and security needs in the areas of Identity Verification, Authentication, and Enforcement, Identity-Enhanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services, Identity-Enabled Data Protection, Advanced Encryption, Cloud Security, Digital, Remote, and Physical Access Security and Service Integrations, IOT (Internet of Things) Security, Real-time risk and fraud analysis, and Protection against cyber-crime. The estimated value of the contract will range from $3 Million to $5 Million.

The anticipated award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 under the procedures FAR 13.5 “Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services.” Lastwall Corp. is the only vendor to meet DIU’s requirement as they developed customized and unique stand-alone security features for the DIU network infrastructure. No other vendor can provide Secure Identity, Advanced Authentication, Identity-Enabled Data Protection and Encryption services that is compatible to the customized and unique DIU security environment that Lastwall Corp. helped develop.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. EST, April 2, 2025. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award Modification. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210 - Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services with a Small business size standard $40 Million.
