REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide QTY. 1 Olympus BX46 Microscopes, Brand Name or Equal To for the VA Oklahoma City Health Care System, 921 N.E. 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.

The Equal To offer must meet the following salient characteristics:
Microscope stand containing a 6-position nosepiece to include the following objectives: 2X, 4X, 20X, 40X, 60X.
User-changeable objectives to maximize system adaptability.
Stage to accommodate hemacytometers and microscopic slides for diverse laboratory applications.
Coarse and fine focus adjustments with high sensitivity for precision imaging.
Adjustable phase condenser for optimal contrast in sample observation.
High-Intensity LED Lamp with control dial and long-lasting performance.
3-Prong Power Cord (UYCP-11) for reliable and safe electrical connectivity.
LED Pointer included in the Dual Observation Attachment for teaching and training
purposes.
Eyepieces (WHN10X-H-1-8 & WHN10X-1-8) for scope with an additional eyepiece for trinocular capability. Arranged with two additional eyepieces positioned for side-viewing functionality. All eyepieces must have a tilting capability.
BX45-PO Polarizer to fit in the light well for fluorescence body fluid crystal identification.
The microscope must be capable of analyzing the following specimens: Endometrium, Endocervix, Skin Shaves, Various Colon Polyps, Skin Punches, Bone, Prostates, and Soft Tissue.

The contractor must provide all parts required to meet the salient characteristics required:
