Description

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with JRC Integrated Systems, Inc. (CAGE 3QQY3), of Washington, D.C. for technical and engineering support of the Nuclear-armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. Primary work location is Washington, D.C. The anticipated period of performance is a one-year base with four one-year options for a total of 60 months (if SSP exercises all Options). SSP will publicize an award notice.





SSP estimates awarding this contract in September 2025, and the applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541330 (Exception 1). The applicable Product Service Code is R425 - Technical and Engineering Support– non IT.





THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.





The proposed contract action is for services for which SSP intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, however, SSP will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by SSP not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of SSP. SSP will normally consider information received as a result of the notice of intent solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
