Medical Services Contract Bid
LEGAL NOTICE

Average Daily Population: 150-170
Services required at minimum:
– Full-time Nurse on staff 40 hours per week.
– A physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant to visit the facilities once a week to see any inmate referred by the nurse.
– Medication preparation for jail officers to pass to the inmates.
– Provide testing, management of chronic care, and hold sick calls sessions for inmates
– Maintain all inmate records.
– Provide medical professional liability insurance of at least $1 million per claim, $5 million annual aggregate covering all medical services under contract and name Graves County as insured and hold the Graves County Jail/RCC harmless concerning medical services.
– Include pharmacy services to the facilities.
– Provide No fault termination clause in the contract.
– Provide medical training to jail officers.
Pricing must include:
– Nurse wages and benefits.
– Physician/ medical director.
– Policies and Procedures development.
– Medical supplies.
– Minor equipment.
– Over-the-counter medication.
– Office supplies.
– Travel expenses for contract employees.
– Publications.
– Insurance.
– Laptop computer for nurse and staff to log distribution of medications to inmates.
– Provide a cost pool to cover the costs of prescription medications, dental, offsite services, and billing services. Funds from the pool not used, will be reimbursed to the county at the end of each year.

This bid is for July 1, 2025 thru June 30, 2026

Sealed bids will be accepted in the Office of the Graves County Judge Executive, 1102 Paris Road, Suite 2, Mayfield, KY 42066 until Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM at which time bids will be opened and read. Bids will be awarded at the Graves County Fiscal Court Meeting April 28, 2025 at 9 AM located at the Purchase Area Development District.

Graves County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
