Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education (hereinafter "CMBE") is soliciting the submittal of qualification statements from experienced Architectural/Engineering firms interested in providing Design services for CMS facility demolition and upfit/renovation projects.
Scope of the Design services will include Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines, for
Demolition of Smith Family Center, located adjacent to Collinswood Language Academy, 1600 Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC.
Upfit/renovation of (Old) Dorothy J. Vaughan Academy of Technology, 8601 Old Concord Road, Charlotte, NC, for Administrative Workspace Use.
Other demolition and upfit/renovation projects as designated.

The response will be due to CMS Auxiliary Services at 3301 Stafford Drive no later than 12:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, by mail or in person only. Any proposals received after this date and time will be returned unopened.
