Security Services for Hatfield Marine Science Center

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of security services for the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, OR from TCB Security Services Inc. as a sole source because of the contractor being the only provider able to meet critical parameters or timeframes to support the research and/or business needs of the university. Due to the nature of the facilities, specific and thorough security reviews and clearances are require to perform services: NOAA and Coast Guard Security Clearances, CAC Card, and TWIC Card requirements. Contractor is the only supplier that both adequately provide security services to the remote region and has the necessary clearances to perform services. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
