Cultural Experiences, Literacy, and Arts Production Services

Project Description: The Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide Cultural Experiences, Literacy, and Arts Production Services on a districtwide, as-needed basis. This Request for Proposal (RFP) intends to establish contracts with multiple qualified vendors capable of providing one or more of the following services, including but not limited to:
Literary and narrative engagement, including authors, storytellers, and educational presenters;
Cultural performances, music, dance, theater, and interactive artistic experiences;
DJ and culturally relevant music programming;
Photography, videography, and multimedia documentation;
Event production services, including staging, audio, lighting, and technical support;
Interactive media activations, including photo booths and 360-degree experiences;
Educational programming and instructional resources that support literacy, academic achievement, cultural competency, and student engagement.
This is for District-wide use, on an "as needed" basis.
All vendors are encouraged to participate even if vendors are the sole source providers.
This proposal is being issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2CFR) Part 200 requirements to procure vendors who provide goods or services purchased by Dallas ISD using federal dollars. This proposal may be used with local, state, federal, and grant-funded programs.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT
The term of this proposal shall be for a three (3) year agreement based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties not to exceed Three (3) years total. Any contract that results from this solicitation and upon Mutual Agreement of the awarded vendor and the District, may be extended not to exceed a total of 3 years(s). If either party intends not to renew the Contract, that party must give written notice to the other party no fewer than ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the then-current term of the Contract. If the District fails to timely exercise any of the options to renew, all remaining options to renew shall expire and terminate.
