NOTICE
It will be required that this addendum be signed in acknowledgment of receipt and that it be included with your Bid when same is submitted to Brandon Williams, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection of the Bid.

The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:
The Construction Drawings have been modified to align with U.S. Fish and Wildlife (FWS) Sand-Placement Statewide Biological Opinion (SPBO). The foreshore beach slope as been adjusted from 3:1 (horizontal: vertical) to 4:1. The cross-sections shown on the drawings have been adjusted and the total bid volume for sand has been reduced from 5,000 CY to 4,600 CY, accordingly. All fill is to remain above the High Tide Line. The changes are marked on Sheet CM-2.0, CM-3.0, CM-3.1, CM-3.2, and CM-3.3. The revised plans are hereby incorporated into the bid package and supersede those originally posted with the bid documents. The revised bid package can be found at publicfiles.dep.state.fl.us - /DRP/BDC/BDC Public Files FY24-25/BDC23-24-25_Fort_Zachary_-_Beach_Renourishment/. Please contact the Bureau of Design and Construction’s Contracts Section at Brandon.D.Williams@FloridaDEP.gov with any questions.
