1. Purpose
The NICE Community School District is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors for the supply of drinking
fountains, retrofit bottle filling stations, water filtration systems, and related plumbing accessories. Vendors
shall provide pricing, product specifications, and applicable warranty information for the products listed within
this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
2. Scope of Work
The selected vendor shall furnish all materials and equipment necessary to provide the products identified in
this RFQ. All products shall be new, unused, and compliant with applicable industry standards. The district
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations, waive informalities, and award in the best interest of
the district.

4. Vendor Requirements
• Itemized pricing for all listed products.
• Manufacturer warranty information for each applicable product.
• Estimated lead times and delivery schedules.
• Product specification sheets and technical data.
• Confirmation that products meet all manufacturer and industry standards.
5. Product Equivalency
Equivalent products may be considered if submitted with complete specifications and approved by the district
prior to award.
6. Delivery Requirements
All materials shall be delivered to NICE Community School District, 300 Westwood Drive, Ishpeming, MI 49849.
Pricing shall include all freight and delivery charges. Partial shipments must be approved by the district.
7. Tax Exemption
NICE Community School District is tax exempt. Tax-exempt documentation will be provided upon request.
8. Installation Responsibility
This RFQ is for material supply only. Installation services are not included unless specifically identified by the
vendor.
9. Submission Instructions
Quotation responses shall be submitted no later than June 11, 2026. The most responsive and responsible quote
will be recommended for approval at the June 15, 2026 Board meeting. The anticipated delivery date for all
requested products is no later than July 10, 2026.

10. Evaluation Criteria

• Vendor responsiveness and experience
11. Quote Validity
Pricing submitted shall remain valid for a minimum of 60 days following the quotation submission deadline.
12. Reservation of Rights
• Reject any or all quotations
• Request clarification or additional information from vendors
• Modify quantities as necessary
• Award all or part of the requested products
• Waive minor irregularities in submissions
13. Warranty Requirements
Vendors shall provide complete warranty information for all products included in the quotation.
14. Acceptance
Submission of a quotation constitutes acknowledgement that the vendor has reviewed and understands the
requirements of this RFQ.
