Description
UPDATE: This bid will be available in IMPACS starting 3:00PM Central Time, Thursday October 9, 2025.
The State seeks to purchase artificial intelligence-enhanced roadside units for its continuous count sites (“Units”).
Background
The Agency seeks bidders to provide the goods and/or services identified herein. The Iowa Department of Transportation (“DOT”) seeks qualified bidders that demonstrate the capabilities and resources to provide an Artificial Intelligence-driven traffic monitoring system to provide constant monitoring of traffic at its continuous count sites (the “AICCS”). The successful bidder will supply AICCS Units for a pilot set of 1 to 4 of those sites, to be installed by DOT according to the bidder’s instructions. Once the Units have been deployed, DOT will assess their performance to determine future deployment potential to the remaining continuous count sites.
